Privacy

Two kinds of people
Creators make an account and a public page. Supporters join a creator's huddle with an email address and no account.
What we collect from supporters
Your email, the name you choose to give, which creator you joined, which projects you said you care about, and a record of consent: when you signed up, when you confirmed, the exact consent sentence you saw, a hashed (not stored) IP and your browser's user-agent. When you click a link in a creator's email or page, we record that the link was clicked. We never store your raw IP address.
What we never do with supporter data
We never sell it, rent it, pool it across creators, or email you about anything other than the creator you joined. Each creator sees only their own list. LaunchHuddle itself does not market to supporters.
What we collect from creators
Name, email, password (hashed), the content of your page, and billing details handled by Stripe (we store Stripe's customer and subscription ids, never card numbers).
Analytics
First-party only: page visits with a daily hashed visitor key, no raw IP, no cross-site tracking. Google Analytics runs on our marketing pages only when configured, with IP anonymisation and ad personalisation off.
Transactional email (confirmations, sign-in) and creator announcements are sent through our email provider. Every announcement carries a one-click unsubscribe and a postal address. Unsubscribes take effect immediately and are kept on file so you are not re-added.
Your rights
Supporters: unsubscribe or change preferences from any email, or write to us to be deleted entirely. Creators: export your supporter list as CSV any time; delete your account from Settings and everything goes with it, including your supporters' data. Email hello@launchhuddle.com for anything else.
