How texts work
LaunchHuddle lets a creator send occasional launch texts to supporters who asked for them. This page is the whole program, in plain words.
Who sends
Texts are sent by LaunchHuddle (CGHM Associates LLC, Downers Grove, Illinois) on behalf of the creator you joined. Every text starts with "LaunchHuddle:" and names the creator.
How you opt in
- On a creator's page you join by email. Texting is a separate, unticked box labelled "Text me too". Ticking it reveals a phone field and this wording: Also text me. By ticking this I agree to receive occasional automated launch texts from the creator via LaunchHuddle at this number. Not a condition of anything. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
- You then get one text asking you to reply YES (or you tap the link on the confirmation page). Nothing is sent until you do.
- Your first text confirms you're in and how to stop.
Creators cannot type in numbers for other people. Consent is yours, recorded with the exact wording you saw, the time, and your replies.
What you get
A text when the creator launches something: what it is, a link to the launch page with ways to help, and "Reply STOP to opt out". Frequency varies and is low: a few times a year is typical, never daily. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text. It stops immediately, for every creator on LaunchHuddle you joined. Reply START to rejoin, HELP for help, or email hello@launchhuddle.com. You can also turn texts off from the preferences link in any email.
